How We Work

Last updated / Posledná aktualizácia: June 2026

Every article on HolisticCodex moves through a structured, multi-step process before it is published — research, drafting, fact-checking, language review, legal review, and a final human review. No article goes live unchecked.

Research First

We start with the evidence, not the conclusion. Claims are built on sources, with preference given to systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and randomised controlled trials.

Where strong clinical evidence does not exist, we say so plainly and label the article accordingly.

AI-Assisted, Human-Reviewed

We are transparent about our process: articles are drafted with the help of an AI pipeline that writes, verifies citations against scientific databases such as PubMed and OpenAlex, checks language, and screens for legal and safety issues.

Every article is then reviewed and approved by a person before publication. The AI assists; a human decides.

Fact-Checking and Citations

Health claims are checked against existing studies and linked to their source where possible. Claims we cannot support are removed or softened.

Our evidence standards — what we cite and what we never cite — are described on our Evidence page.

Continuous Updates

Health science changes. When we revise an article, its "last updated" date reflects the change.

If you spot an error, our corrections policy is described in our Editorial Policy.
